MONTHLY WORKSHOP MEETING – BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS

MONDAY, JANUARY 8, 2018 – 7:00 PM

  1. Township Manager’s Report – discuss operational issues as outlined in the Monthly Report

  2. January Bill Listing – review and approve the monthly bills and check reconciliation of the previous month.

  3. Solicitor – interview attorneys under consideration for the Township Solicitor and Zoning Hearing Board Solicitor positions

  4.  Committee Chairs and Liaison Assignments – the President of the Board will confirm committee chairs and liaison assignments to the advisory agencies of the Board of Commissioners

  5. Zoning Hearing Board Agenda – announce the agenda of any special or regular meeting of the Zoning Hearing Board

  6. Sale of Used Office Furniture and Public Works Equipment – authorize the sale of the used office furniture from the municipal campus and used public works equipment via an electronic public auction

  7. Street Drainage – Pine Road at Moreland Road – review the existing conditions and consider authorization for the creation of plans to address the concern

  8. Township Engineer – 2018 Fee Schedule – entertain a request by the Township Engineer to adjust the fees for services

  9. Traffic Management Study Ordinance – review a draft ordinance establishing the requirements for the conduct of a study and the scope of a study

  10. Subdivision – Lloyd Tract/Laverock, Willow Grove Avenue - 32 single family detached dwellings – letter extending the review period

  11. Subdivision – Sharpe, 750 Thomas Road – one existing dwelling and one proposed single family dwelling – decision

  12. Recycling Report – review the monthly recycling activities

  13. Police Patrol Officer Interviews – interviews of four candidates to fill two future vacancies

  14. Safety Zone – continue discussions on designating an area adjacent to the police station for the exchange of goods purchased over the internet

  15. Ambulance Services – continue discussions on assuring sustainable ambulance services within the community

  16. Library Transportation – review and consider the presentation of a survey regarding public transportation to the Township Library

  17. Library Advisory Committee Membership – consider scheduling a meeting with candidates interested in serving on the Committee
