Police Officer Examination

The Montgomery County Consortium of Communities (on behalf of their respective Civil Service Commissions and/or Municipalities), and the Township of Warminster (Bucks County) will be conducting a written examination for the position of entry level Police Officer on Saturday, June 3, 2017 at the Montgomery County Community College, Parkhouse Hall, 340 DeKalb Pike, Blue Bell, PA 19422.

As part of the testing process, the Springfield Township Police Department, along with 14 other communities, will begin accepting on-line applications from qualified candidates beginning Monday, April 3, 2017.  All applications must be submitted in electronic form no later than 4 PM on Wednesday, May 24, 2017.  A fee of $30.00 must be paid at the time of application using a PayPal account linked to the application.  Applicants who do not have access to a computer may utilize a public library to submit their application.

The minimum qualifications for entry level police officer are found within the electronic application and may vary for each participating department.  All applicants who achieve a passing score in the written examination will also be required to pass a physical agility test. The standards for successfully completing the agility test are found at using the thirtieth percentile.
